Hello! My name is Michael Fagan.
I am a recent Ph.D. graduate from the University of Connecticut. I was conferred my Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering on December 17th, 2017 following the acceptance of my dissertation entitled "Emotionally and Socially Aware Approaches to Understanding and Changing Users' Cybersecurity Behavior." I am also a current intern working with the Trusted Identities Group, an on-going identity initiative at the National Institute of Standards and Technology that works to foster a secure online identity ecosystem. My background and interests are not limited to this, though. Please read on for my own self summary.

I attended Vanderbilt University in Nashville prior to attending the University of Connecticut, but currently live in Washington D.C. I graduated with my Bachelor of the Arts in History and Computer Science in 2011, and my Ph.D. in Computer Science and Enginieering in 2017. This varied educational background has lead me to my current research topic in the field of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). To learn more about my educational and professional background, please see my resume page.

I am freely available through email. You can reach me at any of the following email addresses, but please direct your coorespondence accordingly based on subject of communication.
