Hello! My name is Michael Fagan.

I am a recent Ph.D. graduate from the University of Connecticut. I was conferred my Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering on December 17th, 2017 following the acceptance of my dissertation entitled "Emotionally and Socially Aware Approaches to Understanding and Changing Users' Cybersecurity Behavior."

I currently work as a Computer Scientist in the area of Human-Factors with the Information Technology Laboratory at the National Institute of Standards and Technology.

I attended Vanderbilt University in Nashville prior to attending the University of Connecticut, and currently live in Washington D.C. I graduated with my Bachelor of the Arts in History and Computer Science in 2011, and my Ph.D. in Computer Science and Enginieering in 2017. This varied educational background has lead me to my current research topic in the field of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI).
